Greetings Everyone:
It’s hard to believe that it is almost the end of August – the summer feels as if it just started!! Hope you have all had some time to enjoy the weather, attended some barbecues and swim parties and found time to RELAX and regenerate!
For those students who opted to continue lessons through the summer, thanks for your patience with my “changing schedule”. It seemed as if every week had me calling someone to ask to make a change. Your cheerful willingness to do so, sometimes on very short notice, has been very much appreciated.
The rest of August lessons can be booked online through the portal. I will endeavour to post the available lesson times as soon as I know my schedule. The portal will notify me once you have scheduled a lesson. If you need to amend or cancel, you can also do that through the portal or give me a call.
FALL SEMESTER:
Fall semester will start on Tuesday, September 3rd along with the start of the school semester. As most of you are aware, my son Christopher will be arriving for a visit mid-September. I am hoping you will be kind enough to allow me to book off a week (actual dates not yet confirmed) to visit with him. 😊
Lessons again can be booked through the portal. If you cannot find a posted time that fits with your schedule, have any concerns or questions, please give me a call.
I will be updating this information closer to the start of the semester, but hope you find this helpful.
Wishing you all a “FABULOUS” rest of summer and a relaxed start to the new school year!!
Cheers, Mrs. A.

Hi Everyone:
First, Congratulations to all students on a successful school year!! I am sure that you have all moved to the next level and will be looking forward to an exciting and challenging September.
HAPPY CANADA DAY!!
If you are in town, I hope you get out to the parade and have some fun cheering on the participants and waving those Canadian flags and hats!!
Music Lessons: Re Lessons tomorrow, Saturday, June 29th:
Most students are away this weekend, so ALL LESSONS ARE CANCELLED!! Please enjoy the day. Feel free to call and reschedule.
Summer Session:
Lessons over the summer are flexible and do not have to adhere to a fixed schedule. Trips, parties, just plain lazy days will happen on short notice - please feel free to text or call and let me know that you will not be in attendance.
Scheduling: Oftentimes, mornings and afternoons work well so that you have the rest of the day to enjoy. Many want only the occasional lesson while others like to maintain a full roster. Please feel free to structure as best suits you. I will try to post available times on the calendar so that you can book easily but you can always just send me a text or call to arrange.
If you have any questions or concerns, you know the drill!!
Take care and look forward to seeing you soon and hearing all about your FUN plans. Please make sure that they include a little time each day with your favourite instrument(s) and maybe even a few "thoughts" of Mrs. A. ☺
Cheers
Mrs. A.

Hi Everyone:
Hope that you are all enjoying your summer vacation!! I understand that the weather has been variable but for the most part seasonal with not too much rain. I guess I'll be looking forward to lots of tanned faces come September. ☺
As for me, I am flying high - I had a wonderful trip to England, spent an awesome amount of time visiting with Christopher and attending as many of his concerts as possible. When I wasn't doing that, I walked, tubed, boated (if there is such a word) and trained to such lovely communities such as Watford, Teddington, Penge, Homerton, Stratford and many more. Spent acres of time at the Victoria and Albert Museum, National Gallery, Sherlock Holmes Museum, Charles Dickens House and on and on. To say the least, it was even better than last year as it now is feeling very comfortable, and I have made many friends along the way.
I am pleased to say that Christopher has completed all the credentials for his Masters in Harp Performance and has been offered a Fellowship at Guildhall for this upcoming year. Very happy to see that he is successfully moving towards his goals. Guess next year this time, I'll be off to visit him again!!
SUMMER LESSONS: In the meantime, here we are in August with September just around the corner. Yes, thinking ahead to schedules and lessons etc. For anyone who would like a lesson or two in August, please give me a call.
FALL SCHEDULE: Lessons will recommence on Tuesday, September 5th.
Available Days and times:
Within the next few days, I will be posting the available times for September on the portal. Feel free to book your first day/time on the portal and I will ensure that the others are entered for the rest of the season. Otherwise, email or text me with your preference and I can enter it on the calendar. Once I have received that information, I will confirm with a text/email to you.
Do know that there may have to be a few changes along the way but there will be a lot of lead time notification. As always, if your schedules change, please give me a call and we will work around any changes.
Lessons will still be offered in hybrid mode. Preference is for in-person lessons. Zoom lessons are available anytime for those who are out of town or have other challenges such as weather, colds/flu etc. that may occur from time to time. Just email/text me and we can switch quickly and easily.
Looking forward to seeing you all and to an exciting and fun year of music!
Take care, enjoy the rest of this lovely summer weather and "see you in September".
Cheers
Mrs. A.
