Studio Semester and Number of Lessons:

The Fall/Spring Semesters are based on a 10 month calendar (Sept. – June). 

Fall Semester has 16 lessons   (Sept. - Dec.) and Spring Semester has 25 lessons. (Jan. - June).

Most studio breaks coincide with the school systems in this area. The Summer Semester features a variety of workshops and camps, and lessons are offered in flexible packages to allow for vacations and time off. Summer Schedule is announced mid-spring. (See list of Studio closures below)

NEW:  Starting in June of 2022, students now have the option to choose the location from which they receive their instruction.  Lessons are offered either online (Zoom), In-Person at the studio or a combination of both.  Lessons can be converted to either format on short notice.

Tuition Payments and Schedule: ASC Music Studio accepts Checks, Cash, E-Transfers and Credit (online payment). 

Tuition does not include the cost of music. Students should expect to spend approximately $40-$60 per year on repertoire based on the level being studied.

Missed Lessons: Lesson times are standing appointments; a student’s lesson time is reserved for only them each week, and it is their responsibility to attend. If a lesson needs to be cancelled, please notify the Studio as soon as possible so that someone else may have the opportunity to add an extra lesson or makeup a lesson.  If the teacher has to cancel on short notice, every effort will be made to reschedule the missed lesson as soon as possible.

December: Christmas - New Year period

February:   Family Day (Monday only)

March:  March Break Week

April:  Easter Weekend (Friday - Monday)

May:  Victoria Day
